Dick Tayler is the patron for Athletics Otago and now resides in East Otago.

To celebrate, Athletics Otago will be hosting two fantastic events.

The NZ 10,000m Champs which will also include an Open Women's 5000m, Open Community 10,000 & Club 10,000m relay (maximum 2-5 people).

The Event will be livestreamed with media interest from TVNZ 1 News confirmed.  Dick Tayler will be in attendance and will assist commentary on the night.
