Age Grades:

All athletes competing in senior athletics meetings will have their age calculated as at 31st December in the year of competition.

For Interclub competition, Masters results will be 30-49, and 50+.  The exceptions are Masters athletes competing in an Otago Championship event where their age is calculated as at the day of the Championship event and results will be given in 5 yearly age gradings.

When Grade 12-14 athletes are competing as children in a senior combined event their age is determined as per the Children’s age date of 31/12/2022.

Competition Number: It is vital that athletes wear a competition number on the day of the event.  Please enter the number assigned to you for the season If you do not have a competition number, please enter the number 1. You then MUST report to the bottom control room at least a half hour before your first event to receive a number to be worn for that event.
