From November our Junior Track & Field events are open to club athletes who are registered competitive with Athletics Otago and aged 6 to 14 years old as at 31 Dec 2024.
Season:
The Track & Field Season will run from 12th Oct 2024 to mid March 2025. You can sign up with a club at any time. We have multiple clubs all over Otago.
Ages:
Age is calculated as at 31 Dec 2024
Children compete in their Grade. We have Grade 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14
For Children's Interclub you do not need to pre-enter. Just Turn Up on the Day.
For Otago Champs in March 2025 you will need to pre-enter (more details closer to the time).
Grade 12, 13 & 14 can compete in the Junior or Senior Competition but you must pre-enter the Senior competion online by 12noon the Friday before the competition.
All Children registered competitive will be issued with a competition number on the first day they compete. They will keep this number for the season. YOU MUST wear this number on a Saturday to get a recorded Track time. No number - no time.
